I brought in a very old damaged chair to be repaired. John did an amazing job and now I get to enjoy actually sitting on it. He was very accommodating in holding my piece for me until I was able to pick it up. I really appreciated that. I do recommend them to anybody who needs furniture repairs. Great service all around! Not many places will reduce a quoted price for work but that is what the Chair Repair Guys did for me.
I took 2 chairs in to be glued and was advised that the repair would be $175 per chair. When I picked them up I was advised the new price was $95 per chair because it did not take them as long as first expected to perform the work.
Honest folks and quality work.

We were very happy with the seats repairs of our dining room chairs. Sheet cane was used and stained to match our other chairs. After setting the repaired chair beside the other chairs, we could not see any difference. The match was perfect.

Hi John,
I picked up my dining room oak chair that you fixed today and I am very happy with it. It is so sturdy now and the legs don’t poke into our wood floors anymore. I have 7 more chairs that I’d like you to reglue (or whatever was needed) and trim the legs. What can you do for total cost of that job?

The Chair Repair Guys repaired a Mission style chair for me and turned it from a recliner (for which we column't find a replacement mechanism) into a regular easy chair. They did a great job and the service was professional and pleasant. I will enjoy my chair again for many years to come.

I Left a dining room chair to be repaired. It was done in a fine fashion.It was also done within the time specified.Vey fine service. They did a good job repairing and recovering the chair I left with them. Kept the patina of the chair but spruced it up so I did not look so battered and worn. Helped me pick a suitable fabric based on the colour I wanted. I am happy with the result.

The Chair Repair Guys were awesome! We had four barstools that we wanted the ripped caned seats to be replaced. They spent the time with us to come up with a great solution that was better than what we had asked for. Instead of replacing the cane, which would have probably ripped again; they made an upholstered vinyl seat that is way more sturdy and comfortable and looks great!

“ I had an old piano stool that was getting really shaky. It was an old stool and I didn't know if it was even worth repairing. I took it to John at "the Chair Repair Guys" and right away I knew I had taken it to the right spot. It was a cool little shop tucked away in a nice area of Edmonton. John welcomed me to his shop and quickly examined the piano stool. I could see his enthusiasm for wanting to fix up this antique piece of furniture and the cost he quoted me was extremely reasonable. When he called me to come and pick up the stool, it looked great. John had gone above and beyond what I expected and the piano stool was now looking great and very stable. John and his wife were both in the shop and I enjoyed the short conversation with both of them. I highly recommend John and this store if your looking for good work, a good craftsman, and an intimate and family based place to take your prized possessions to. Thank you John.”
